Franklin recognizes the challenges facing our district and is committed to working tirelessly to address them. With a collaborative approach and an open ear to the voices of constituents, he aims to bridge divides, foster unity, and enact positive change that benefits all. Some key issues he is focused on are as follows:
Economic Development: It’s critical to promote local businesses, create job opportunities, and ensure economic strength and growth for all residents. This is key in preserving the area’s character and quality of life. Additionally, a healthy economy makes balancing a budget more feasible. As we continue to grow and develop our communities, a balanced budget will be a necessary focus. Infrastructure Development: As our district continues to experience growth, we need to ensure roads are safe and can accommodate the growing population. We need to move on from buildings and structures that are critically unsafe, while maintaining and protecting history and landmarks that helped define this area.

Education Equity: Our youth need access to high-quality education. This needs to be available to every child. We need to support and take care of our teachers who are on the front lines of key developmental years for our youth.
Public Safety: The safety and well-being of our community is a top priority. With growth comes crime and other safety concerns. We need to support our law enforcement officers, first responders, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and healthy communities. Supporting Healthcare: We need to continue to invest in our local hospitals and in our healthcare workforce. I support increasing the accessibility to healthcare, including telehealth services, to make sure the community has access to the care they need. |
